Description
Ariane is the generic name for a family of European civil satellite launchers. The Ariane program was launched in 1973 by CNES, the French space agency, to give France the means to put its satellites into orbit without depending on other space powers.
The Ariane 1, 2 and 3 families made a total of 28 flights between 1979 and 1989, including 4 failures.
The first flight of Ariane 1 took place on December 24, 1979, and the last flight of Ariane 3 took place on July 12, 1989.
Here you’ll find all the STL files needed to build the three versions of this launcher in 1/60th scale.
Ariane 1, mission L03 for the first ever launch of three satellites
Ariane 2, mission V20
Ariane 3, mission V32 for the last flight of this launcher family.
