Description
Mercury-Redstone 3, or Freedom 7, was the first United States human spaceflight, on May 5, 1961, piloted by astronaut Alan Shepard. It was the first crewed flight of Project Mercury. The project had the ultimate objective of putting an astronaut into orbit around the Earth and returning him safely. This product comes in 4 distinct versions
– WHITE version : this version is not detailed and is reserved for modelers who wish to add their own finishing touches.
– PAINT version : this version features markings to identify the areas that need to be painted, typically the checkerboard of the instrument unit.
– COLORED version : this non-detailed version allows you to make the entire model in the right colors, using different colored filaments.
– CUTAWAY version : This version requires several colors of filament, paint, transfer paper for decals, and two magnets. This will enable you to build the entire model with most of the interior details, so you’ll have a good understanding of the launcher’s technical systems.

Fully printable with a filament printer, 0.4mm nozzle, no support. The colors required are white, black, silver, gray and red.
The paints required are white, black, silver, army green and red.
The pack also includes a full-page decal sheet to be printed without scaling.
