Description

Apollo 11 is a mission of the American Apollo space program, during which men landed on the Moon for the first time on Monday, July 21, 1969. Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin set foot on the Moon, while Michael Collins, the CSM pilot, remained in orbit around the Moon during the lunar expedition.

Here is a 1/24th scale model of the Apollo 11 spacecraft itself, comprising the CSM 107 Columbia and the LM 5 Eagle.

The entire model is fully printable with a conventional FDM printer.
The STL parts don’t present any particular difficulties to print, if you already have some experience in 3D printing. The supports, when necessary, are already provided and will be removed as the construction progresses, as indicated in the assembly instructions.

The entire model weighs 3.5 kg, measures 110 cm high and 30 cm wide.

The model can be presented completely closed, partially open, or completely disassembled to reveal the interior of the model.

Are included in this set:

Command Module – 61 parts

Launch Escape System – 10 parts

Service Module – 103 parts

Spacecraft LM Adapter – 6 parts

LM : Descent Stage – 419 parts
