I’ve been meaning to make this pattern for a while now. It’s not easy because there are already so many models available online.

It’s difficult to get to grips with it, but I’ve never come across anything that resembles me.

There are many printable models, but none are detailed enough in my opinion. And there are also many highly detailed 3D models that are never printable.

NASA’s 3D resources include highly detailed 3D models like these:

Therefore, I have no choice, and I have to design everything, each piece, to make the whole thing 100% printable according to my requirements.

Those familiar with this telescope will be paying close attention to how I manage the thermal protection. I haven’t made a decision yet, but I’m considering it!

I chose the 1/48th scale for a model that will be approximately 40 cm long.
